Some of the questions we will be looking at are:
What age should kids in karate be stretching? and for how long and what intensity?
How many hours a week should a student train? and does it depend on age?
What is the right mix of martial arts training to physical exercise?
How do you know if you are getting the correct training?
Is it good to mix the different styles of martial arts?

I hope this wets your appetite.

These and heaps more will be answered here and in my newsletter.
I hope you enjoy my contribution to this site and I look forward to hearing from you, feel free to
e-mail me or even give me a ring (providing it is reasonable hours here in Australia).                                                                                                            Grant

I realise that some of you coming to this page will have been training for a long time while others may just be beginning.
So you will find some very basic stuff here and also some advanced martial arts.
I have been buying martial arts books for the last 30 years and each time I buy a book I find a lot of the stuff is repeated but if I can find at least one article or tip that I am not aware of, then I feel that buying the book has been worthwhile.
